***We are professionals training future professionals, in a
warm, fun and relaxing atmosphere... and our

tuition is very reasonable.

***We teach both
western and eastern styles of bodywork, as
well as a variety of energy modalities.

***Our school is licensed by the PA State Board of Private
Licensed Schools, which means you can sit for the
National Certification Exam after completing the program.

***We have a full 600 hour program, or you can take any
part
   of it you like.

***Our classes are small so you can get lots of individual attention.

***We have unique teaching methods to make learning
easy.

***Telema has been training bodyworkers for 18+ years

***We place equal focus on terrific techniques and
   developing   sensitivity, intuition and awareness.

***We offer individual tutoring, when needed, and are available
for problem-solving even after you graduate.

We graduate top-notch therapists who have a wide variety of
well-rounded skills, and who are much more than "body mechanics."

"We all benefited by getting lots of one-on-one instruction.  The teachers
were knowledgeable and extremely willing to share their experiences with
us.  From my initial meeting with the director to the last day of class, I always
felt that I had made the right decision in choosing Omega for my massage
therapies program. After having many massages by many other therapists, I
still think Omega is the best there is."  Danielle Schwartz

HOW TO CHOOSE A MASSAGE SCHOOL.....regardless of whether you choose Omega!

1.  Choose a convenient
location.

2.  Realistically think about the class
schedule in your life. You don't need burn out!

3.  Choose a school
dedicated to the healing arts, massage and bodywork, and not
also teaching computers, medical assisting, forensics and other non-related courses.

4.
Compare prices and make sure they are licensed by the state board of education,
so you will be able to take the National Exam.

5.  Choose a school with
classes small enough to get individual attention.

6.  Meet with the director and/or teachers to make sure there is
compatibility in
ideals and goals and if they seem warm, friendly and respectful of you as a
  special person.

7.  Ask for
references of graduated students.

8.  Avoid schools which virtually harass you with their follow-up phone calls, or
  really give you the
"hard sell." Also avoid schools with "open enrollment". You
may find yourself in classes with students much more advanced than you and
not get the attention you need - or much less advanced than you and you
will be "waiting around" while they catch up.

9.  Make sure they honor
energy work, as this is a realistic and important part of
  any bodywork.

10. Find out if they also focus on YOUR
body mechanics and self-care, which shows
that they consider YOU as important
.

WHEN YOU FINISH OMEGA'S 600-HOUR PROGRAM, YOU WILL:
* Know how to do many styles of massage and bodywork:
Swedish,  light and relaxing, neuromuscular, deep tissue, trigger point,
   reflexology, sports and pre-natal massage,
   chair massage,
shiatsu/oriental bodywork (including Thai techniques and
Chinese cupping), aromatherapy, hot stone massage and more.
* Understand how the body works; what to do as a therapist when
it doesn't; how to take care of yourself as a therapist and help your
   clients take care of themselves.
* Know more about energy - how to use and protect yours, sense
   and work with the client's.
* Have stress reduction and meditation tools for your own life and
   your client's.
* Be savvy about the business of massage, whether being employed
by others, setting up your own practice, or both.
